My Turkey Travel Plan

After long times come back to write for our facebook page and blog followers.I had some personal problems and moved Bursa city.İts really hard to move with a lot of  furniture.I did not write any article in that time but I try to help for your questions.

Many people asking asking somethings about Turkey.Visa,job,places,cultures,tours.Some people think that we are a tourist guide or tourism company.Actually I'm mechanical engineer and blog is my hobby.I'm just trying to help people and improving my english while describing how Turkey is beautifull.

A friend asked that I will come to Turkey for 10 days and how I will spend time in Turkey and How ı can spend time usefull.So I will write my Turkey travel plan.I will try to write if I could be tourist where I visit and what I can do.

First Route İstanbul

İstanbul is most famous city in Turkey and it deserve it with its beauty,history,culture and location.Actually I will write an article about İstanbul tour route with more details later.Today I will write main title without much details.

İstanbul has many places for to see  but lucky that there are not much far each other.

• First Day ;Eminönü square,Blue Mosque,the Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar.
• Second Day ;Basillica Cistern and Topkapı Palace and Süleymaniye Mosque.
• Third Day;Dolmabahçe Mosque and Maiden Towers
• Fourth Day ;Taksim Square,İstiklal street ,Beyoglu and Galata Tower.
• Fiveth Day Golden Horn,Pierre Loti Hill

Cappadocia 

After visited Istanbul nest station is Cappadoai for art of nature.I said art of nature because  we will see a master which build fairy chimneys.But if you think that just for only fairy chimneys will go Cappadocia ? Of course not, will see many things too,underground cities,valleys,churchs, underground cities,rock homes.

Which Place will see Cappadocia Region

Göreme,Uçhisar, Avanos and Ürgüp main stations at our route and we will make same activity too.

• Hot air baloon tour
• Turkish Bath
• Horse riding tours
• Trekking valleys

We wrote an article about Cappadocia so can read it for more information. We can stay Cappadocia region 2,3 days.Than next station is Pamukkale Travertines and Hierapolis ancient city.

Pamukkale Travertines

After visit Cappadocia we will go to Denizli by bus for to go Pamukkale Travertines and Hierapolis Ancient city.I know that area because I lived Denizli about 5 years for university and visit many times Pamukkale travertines.Pamukkale statiion take 1 or 1,5 days

After come to Denizli we will go pamukkale .It take  about 30 min.When come to Pamukkale will see another art of nature.And fall in love that amazing view.Every year tohusends toursits visit pamukakle travertines.Can spend time in little pools and sunbathe.Than Hierapolis ancient city is near pamukkale travertines and maybe remember Hierapolis ancient city from Ghost Rider 2.

Antalya

Next station is Antalya at our route.Antalya not much far to Denizli about 3 hours by bus.We just visit culturel places so we deserve to rest and enjoy in sea.There are man blue flag beaches in Antalya region.

There are many activities to do in Antalya but ı just give 3 days for Antalya because our time finishing.

Which place will see at Antalya Region

• Alanya city center
• Side
• Belek
• Alanya
• Kas
• Myra
• Manavgat

Antalya have many beautifull places for rest and see but 3 days not enough if you want to see all of places at Antalya.

Ephesus Ancient city I added it list because we must see that place.There are many culturel ruins in Ephesus and holy places for christians

13-Ephesus

Ephesus Ancient city in very important tourism center in Turkey, the city has many amazing historical artifact and they are very old.Ephesus was consturcted about 6000 B.C in Neolithic Period.Currently excavations archaeologists find

some Hittite antiquity.Apasas was city name of the Hittite ages.Currentyl Ephesus was constructed by Lysimakhos who was commnader of Alexander B.C. 300. Ephesus was at golden age in Roman Empire period , it was capital city , Asia region. There were 200.000 person in Ephesus and it was center of trade,art, science..Ephesus moved another place at Byzantium period and Turks conquered that place in 1330.I wrote about Ephesus before so can read all of article here..

14-Archaeological Site of Ani

This site is located on a secluded plateau of northeast Turkey overlooking a ravine that forms a natural border with Armenia. 

This medieval city combines residential, religious and military structures, characteristic of a medieval urbanism built up over the centuries by Christian and then Muslim dynasties. The city flourished in the 10th and 11th centuries CE when it became the capital of the medieval Armenian kingdom of the Bagratides and profited from control of one branch of the Silk Road. Later, under Byzantine, Seljuk and Georgian sovereignty, it maintained its status as an important crossroads for merchant caravans. The Mongol invasion and a devastating earthquake in 1319 marked the beginning of the city’s decline. The site presents a comprehensive overview of the evolution of medieval architecture through examples of almost all the different architectural innovations of the region between the 7th and 13th centuries CE.

15-Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia

In a spectacular landscape, entirely sculpted by erosion, the Göreme valley and its surroundings contain rock-hewn sanctuaries that provide unique evidence of Byzantine art in the post-Iconoclastic period. Dwellings, troglodyte villages and underground towns – the remains of a traditional human habitat dating back to the 4th century – can also be seen there.I wrote an article before can read here

16-Hierapolis-Pamukkale

Deriving from springs in a cliff almost 200 m high overlooking the plain, calcite-laden waters have created at Pamukkale (Cotton Palace) an unreal landscape, made up of mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and a series of terraced basins. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the dynasty of the Attalids, the kings of Pergamon, established the thermal spa of Hierapolis. The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments can be seen at the site.Read more about pamukkale here

  How Occured Travertines

                  Pamukkale travertines are natural wonders in Turkey  and has since antiquity. I h has occured chemical reactions and its a typical of soft rock.Inside of calcium carbonate. Hot water flowing from hill and there are 17 water supply and its about between 30 - 100 Celsius.After occur from supply water flow about 320 meters, during this period water become cold and calcium carbonat start to be solidfy and this calcium carbonat salve acnes ( ı tested when ı was there )
                  

How Can Visit Pamukkale Travertines

                  Pamukkle travertines is in Pamukkale district. Pamukale is far from about  30 minutes Denizli city. At the summers every hour have minibus from Denizli to Pamukkale. So can stay Denizli hotels , its not much far. Minibus start to move at Denizli Bus Terminal.

                         

                   At pamukkale, there are many hotel and restaurants for all butget , retro, normal , luxury class.

Pameukkale distric people trained tourists and foreigns so they can speak many language ( english, spanish russian korean ) local people dealing tourism and organic agriculture.

                   

                    Must have a ticket for to come in travertine region but not much expensive and whitout time period, can stay to off time.Can buy ticket in front of travertine district. Can take photo inside and swim little travertine pools but some place is closed because travertine can lost their colors when people tread much.There is museums, antic pool, touristic plants,tombs and Hierapolis antique theater and city (if  watch Ghost Rider 2 , can see antique theater ) I will write an article about Hierapolis later

                     

                      

Antique Pool

At the Roman Empire age this area was healty center many people came there for healty problems.Warm and healing water help people's healty problems.Antique pool occured at an earthquake so column overturned in poon. This area private business so have to pay 30-40 Turkish Lira for about 2 hours to swim.Some people throw coins in the wish pool ( near antique pool) but don't know theirs wisheds will happen..
